Our little 60g jars of local honey make a gorgeous little gift to take overseas with you even as a tester to see if you will fall in love with Brisbane honey like we all have. 

You will notice local honey will state where in Brisbane the honey is harvested from. It has been scientifically proven that honey is rich in antioxidants and wound healing properties. Anti-inflammatory and incredibly good for your immune system, as the Bees collect pollen from the flora in the local area. 

You will find that each region will have a slightly different flavour profile. As an example, Honey from Brisbane City often gives a lovely green apple, where Toowong in Brisbane will give a floral profile and Honey from coastal regions tends to be lighter and slighty saline.

Supporting your local bee community is as easy as selecting a local honey from your part of Queensland and Australia, showcasing the delicate nuances of each location.
