A family story, from Calabria to Australia

Bippi's story begins in 1955, when Nonna Emilia left Calabria, Italy, for the rural Victorian town of Mildura. Along with her belongings, she brought the family recipes she had treasured for generations, including her signature chilli, affectionately known as Bippi.

Surrounded by Mildura's wonderful produce, Nonna grew many of the ingredients used in her cooking. Her recipes were shared around the family table, passed down through generations and perfected in the kitchen rather than written in recipe books.

In 2020, her grandson Ben set out to share those much-loved family traditions with Australia, combining authentic Italian inspiration with quality Australian produce.

Today, Bippi celebrates the simple pleasures of good food, family and gathering around the table. Their range brings together traditional flavours and a modern approach to Italian-inspired pantry favourites.
