Inspired by the gorgeous Corsican cheese 'Fluer de Marquis'. Gin Herbalist is a Sheeps milk cheese matured under a coating of upcycled Gin aromatics from Hartshorn Distillery just next door. 

The cheese exhibits classic gin-centric flavours of juniper, coriander & citrus. However, you will also notice a touch of lemon & anise myrtle, wattle seed, and Tasmanian pepper leaf. These botannicals enhance the herbaceous flavours naturally present in sheeps milk cheeses.

I’m not sure I will do this company justice with so few words. Grandvewe is an entrepreneurial family-centric business with a strong focus on zero wastage, diversification, innovation, and ‘eweunique’ products.

What started as a simple Tasmanian 'tree-change' ended up becoming a love affair with sheep for founder of Grandvewe Cheese, Diane Rae.
