Max Schofield's father worked at a deli in his younger days, and after stumbling into some gangsters who were beating a small Greek man behind the deli, he decided to intervene. He interrupted the beating, saving the Greek mans life. After the heat had died down, the Greek man secretly returned to thank Jim. It turned out that in his financial desperation he had stolen money from the wrong kind of people. By way of thanks the small Greek man taught Jim his Taramosalata recipe. A recipe that, he promised, would one day bring Jim his fortune.

Today Jim's son Max has shared this legendary recipe with Australia, even adding some other equally extraordinary flavours to his repertoire. The Babaganoush is a must try!
