Tasmanian Truffle - Freeze Dried Truffle

Tasmanian Truffles unearth their truffles at the perfect moment, guided by the finely tuned senses of their highly trained truffle dog and chief hunter, Doug. Each truffle is gently lifted from the soil by hand, harvested in the pristine foothills of the Great Western Tiers mountain range in Tasmania's central south.

Add their freeze dried black truffle to any dish at the end of the cooking process to unlock the unique black truffle aroma and flavour. Dried truffle makes an excellent addition to sauces, pastas, risottos and egg dishes. A wonderful ingredient that will keep in the pantry for a special occasion.
