Taidghe (pronounced Teague) Shepherd loves pickles…and we can’t blame him. These much-maligned bursts of vinegary joy deserve more love here in Australia. Teague has a small range, but each product has been carefully tasted, tested, and tasted again. If you see a new product appear in his range, wake up and take notice.

The Curried Cauliflower is our favourite, and we eat them straight from the jar. However, Teague suggests battering and deep frying them, accompanied with some labneh or hummus. Sounds pretty good to us!

Every fridge ought to have some Bread and Butter pickles in it. Try these sweet and spicy pickles on your next burger, charcuterie board, or even at 2am when you're feeling a little peckish.

The Malted Mushrooms make an amazing substitute to regular mushrooms when cooking. Make that next mushroom risotto pop with these little beauties. 

Blueberry & Tarragon make good bedfellows, and this fermented compote will have you scraping out the jar. The mild licorice flavour of tarragon adds a curiously enticing edge to the robust blueberry sweetness. Add a splash to your next spring salad dressing, or apply liberally to buttermilk pancakes.
