When COVID hit in early 2020 many of us took it as a opportunity to slow down a little from our often fast paced lifestyles. For Liz, founder of Noosa Sourdough Co., this was the moment her amateur baking began 'rising' into a fully formed business.

She had begun teaching herself how to make traditional sourdough just 12 months prior to the beginning of the pandemic, and prompted by fabulous feedback from all the locals she shared her bread with, she began testing how to make a shelf-stable sourdough starter that could travel via the post. Her starter culture is now shipped out to hungry paniphiles all over the country.
