Where do you source your produce from?
As Brisbane’s best foodie destination, we specialise in locally sourced, Australian, independent producers and artisans. We celebrate small, boutique businesses whose main focus is quality, expression of place and hand-crafted authenticity. Everything you find in our stores is carefully and lovingly hand curated by Lucy to ensure we are supporting Australian producers and offering you only the very best. We really do taste test everything (hardest part of the job), so we know it’s going to be perfect for you.
Can we give food as gifts?
Absolutely. Does premium mean expensive?
Premium does not always mean expensive. We have a broad range of gift options and brands to suit all budgets. We have deliberately sourced from small boutique producers, to make sure there is nothing cookie cutter about your gift. The very nature of small batch and hand made, means a whole lotta love goes in to the finished product. Unlike mass produced lines we know that the quality ingredients, attention to detail and genuine care put into our produce, will mean the outcome is a step above the usual and well worth paying for. You get what you pay for after all.
Why is supporting local, independent so important?
Keeping our expansive, diverse, and historical communities thriving and resilient is vital to our environmental and economic sustainability.
